  • Opening Times: Wednesday – Dordon Surgery 1.30pm – 4pm, Thursday – Polesworth Surgery 8.45am – 11.30am, Friday – Dordon Surgery 11.45am – 3.30pm
  • Additional Information: Wednesday afternoon session at Dordon surgery is predominantly for anticoagulation blood tests.  
    Thursday morning session at Polesworth surgery is predominantly for fasting blood tests.
    Friday session at Dordon surgery cannot take anticoagulation blood tests due to the processing of the blood over the weekend.

    Clinics are also available at the George Eliot Hospital and Atherstone Memorial Hall, these appointments must be booked in advance either online at www.geh.nhs.uk/directory-of-services/blood-tests/ or by telephoning 02476 153 546 between the hours of 10am and 3pm Monday to Friday.  By booking an appointment the George Eliot Hospital can better manage the demand and reduce waiting times.

    Childrens blood test appointments can also be booked before attending the George Eliot Hospital.  This ensures that the service allocates a longer appointment and two phlebotomists for the younger patients, to make sure they are not rushed and the best patient experience is achieved.
