Prescription Ordering Direct Service (POD)

The Prescription Ordering Direct service will be closing on Thursday 28th March 2023 at 5pm. The online form is no longer available to accept prescription orders, so please call as the phone lines will continue to operate as normal until the final operating date.

As we move closer to close down, we would urge those who haven’t already to sign up for the NHS App or Patient Access App. These apps allows you to access a range of NHS services, including ordering repeat prescriptions and nominating a pharmacy you would like to collect them from. It’s simple to use and will allow you to continue ordering your prescriptions online.

Prescriptions can continue to be ordered via the surgery in the usual ways, drop in the repeat prescription to the box in the reception area, email requests to [email protected], use the online form on the website, post or ring through preferably after 5pm on week days (Monday to Friday) when the phone lines are not as busy with patients trying to book appointments for illnesses.
