The practice has been established for many years and serves the whole of Dordon, Polesworth and surrounding villages. Dordon Surgery building, was completed in 1990 and is now the main administrative centre with six doctors rooms, three nurse consultation rooms, one nursing treatment room, one Emergency Care Practitioner room, large dispensary and administration office. Polesworth Health Centre houses our smaller branch surgery, where we rent two doctors rooms, a nursing treatment room, a reception and small dispensary.
Our enthusiastic and dedicated team of clinical and administration staff, includes three GP partners and four salaried doctors, alongside two Advanced Nurse Practitioners, four Practice Nurses, Nurse Assistants and Dispensers. The clinical staff are all supported by our reception and administration staff.
There is ample parking and facilities for the disabled at both surgeries. Patients may use either surgery; however the Patient Forum Group try to encourage patients with transport to attend the main site at Dordon, freeing up appointments at Polesworth for those patients who have transport problems when trying to get to the main site of Dordon

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with prescription enquiries and dealing with patient records. GP receptionists have an enormously important and often difficult job to do but they are hugely experienced and knowledgeable so please be kind to them! Our receptionists may ask you about the details of your illness or problem but they only do so to help you and they are bound by the same duties of confidentiality as doctors and nurses.
